"But your exam..." *disappointed*

"Exam gaya bhaar mein!" *indifference at its peak*

"But it was your (final) exam..." *woebegone*

"Kaha na exam bhaar mein jachuka hai, aur bhaar se cheezain wapis nikalna mujhey pasand nahin!" *smiles with indifference soaring above its peak*

*bewildered*

*shrugs*

I wasn't referring to my exam.

@ Salman: Yes. Sighs. I've P2. By the way, avg. in F9 means a pass according to me. Good luck, though.

@ Sid: The person being referred to in the post 'skipped' an exam. Shocking, much?
But hey, good luck with the result. I've studied like a cow too and I've an exam on Tuesday. :( Plz pray!

dun wry..i hope the results r better than the paper..nd reaching the final semesters in uni does make one bit indifferent to results :)

Best of luck for tomorrow :)
and Hey which one did you skipped? :O and why? =(

PS> Which Firm did you get into and on what basis? If you can share that! When I arrived here I could only attend Diliote's test and when I reached there, they said that after 14 papers =| So I am waila nowadays! Trying to get into EnY through a reference but will take time! =/

@ majworld: I wasn't talking about my exam in the post. Nevertheless, I had my exam aaj. :)

@ Salman: I was not talking about 'my' exam!! So, I havn't skipped any paper.
Uh... Yes, the big fours are very mean to ACCAs. And when recruiting, they are inclined towards CA applicants for obvious reasons. I got in on my own, which was a surprise to be honest, my friend told me about openings in one of the big four and luckily, they were only hiring ACCAs. And, I got in. But, you know, the sad truth is that you need a reference to get into a big four. Will you believe it if I tell you everyone else who was hired with me had a reference! How the hell did I get in w/o a reference, well, that was an astonishment not just for me but my colleagues as well. Try in the industry as well, not just audit firms! Some kind of exposure is obviously better than none.

I got that thing today. When that Deliote denied to me, then today my friend told me that its not only Firms, so I will be trying into Industry now. Thanks Ann...
And hey! How did your P2 go? I heard the Cashflow was easy but Share Based Payments gave students a tough time.. Is it so?
Mine F7 went pretty good ALHAMDULILLAH, because I stayed very calm throughout and solved it with concentration :D so hopes are high this time :)

@ salman: It went alright. Yes, cashflows were easy except for an adjustment or two but section B was a tough nut. Overall, the paper wasn't 'uber' hard but the usual exam-standard hard.
Keeping your calm is 'the' key!
