Heart's been taking plunges lately. Irrespective of the brevity, it gets soaked pretty bad, in the slimy substance that the unidentified woes are made of.

Maps, distances, and other funny things

It's funny how distances work...

I have come to realise physical distances might not matter so much after all. They do in the end however, since we are insatiable beings, always wanting more. But that's another story altogether, so let's keep it at that.

 People have been farther away and I've missed them less than I miss them now, when they're nearer. I say nearer because that's what running my fingers over the maps tell me.
