Okay... So yes I had my hair cut into a bob a few months back. I looked awesome, contrary to the teasings I got from my brothers and cousins. My hairs did earn me quite a lot of nicknames which, obviously I am not going to reveal here. Nah. Not a chance. lol. As I said, I looked awesome but there is a thing with the boys in my family. They LOVE long hairs. I mean even the hairs on your head are your own but if you are thinking of cutting them short you will have to face a desk banging opposition, just like the ones in our parliament. Yupe, they are that obsessed. Anyways, my hairs have grown out now and so have the teasings.
BUT.... Now I want to get Blue Streaks. Don't raise eye brows. I want just a couple of blue streaks, that's it. I have been wanting to do that for so long now. But I am hoping I do get this done this time. Let's hope my ami agrees to it *fingers crossed*. However, the gentlemen of my khandaan would get yet another chance to chastise me AGAIN. lol. And the first one would be my.... Oh God! My papa..... I am having a feeling this is going to be a long journey and that too, utterly painstaking. lol.

blue highlights sounds good. =) as a kid, i have had a history of the most horrible haircuts known to mankind. lol. thank the Lord, for the dupattaa, no sayapas anymore! :) but good luck with yoursss! ;)
Ah, non-conventional sense of style you got there, young lady. I think you should absolutely go for it. It's your hair, your statement. My best friend got a purple streak. And another girl at my college got green.
She's shitty looking so whatever. Mhm.
But YOU should go for it. ;)

Sidra: hahahahah... thak gayee ho that's okay, haaro mat bas!! the search for "the" template shall never cease. ;)
God! I'm so glad i didn't have horrible-haircuts childhood-memories :) well... okay... except this one time when my mum decided to have our heads shaved :P that was horribly-horrible!!
I love the word SYAPA :D And me to saved from many syapas 'coz dupatta really IS a saviour, agreed hands down. ;)
Mehreen: For some unknown reason I kept reading your name as mehreen KANSA.... It was just now that I realised it is KASANA! :P Apologies! Purple must be looking good, about green.. ahem ahem. I don't know. lol.
And You guys are really sweet... I think will try it out. I have even set up a contingency plan- If sth goes wrong I will wear a dupatta 24/7 ;) lol
However, it'd be really hard to convince my mother *ugh* But i WILL try nonetheless. If it goes in vain, I will look for synthetic hair. :P
But.. MUST GO BLUE!! *chants* ;)
@ Sidraaaa: *hugs* :) :) Thank you, thank you!
P.S. My previous comment could have easily qualified for a separate post. lol.
i had waist-length hair once. i got tired of it and got it cut to a boy's crop. everyone was appalled but i loved it. it's grown a little past my shoulders now, so people have stopped talking about it finally. and i got blue streaks done last year, they were cool. then i bleached my hair blonde. then i got tired and dyed my hair black. it's fun to experiment :D
if you still have that thing of wanting blue streaks then you should get it done. i bet it'll look great.
Ok! Blue streaks- coming soon! :)
